Assalamualaikum. As we all know, tomorrow will be a celebration, Valentine's day. The very next day, all the muslim will be celebrating Maulidur Rasul. What will happen tomorrow? Will we see muslim couple go dating to live up the day of valentine's day? or they'll be busy preparing for marching on the next day?
I just want to say, It's forbidden for all muslim to celebrate Valentine's Day. It has been decided by many Ulama' since the root of valentine's day has been known. So, for all muslim, just stop celebrating valentine's day. It's not our fest to celebrate. We should celebrate the next day fest, Maulidur Rasul as to remember the birth of our Prophet, Nabi Muhammad Sallallahualaihiwasallam. His birth brought a way to Islam. A way to find Allah. The most powerful in the universe. No other except Him. He who created the universe with system, from the tiniest to the biggest. The most wise, the most generous and the most loving, Allah SubahanahuaTa'ala.
Our prophet faced a lot of threats to bring Islam to the eye of the world. Could we just celebrate valentine's day and just leave Maulidur Rasul uncelebrated? Open your eyes, what may happen during valentine's day? what will we got if we celebrate Maulidur Rasul? Use you head not your lust and you'll see the truth.
